Hate Mail?

I just received my first hate “ask” telling me how horrible I am and that I’m some sort of narrow minded misogynistic scum who is full of hate… all based on a comment I made reblogging her content. Ironically the message was one of the most hateful and judgmental things I’ve read in a while. It’s really a shame because I’m actually a very open minded, tolerant and loving person who couldn’t imagine ever writing such mean things about anyone. Even people who think that way about me.

The most surprising thing is how much it hurt my feeling. Sadface!

Maybe I’ll send her the definition of Aloha so she’ll understand how I try to live my life. I wish her all the best in life and on tumblr regardless of how she feels about me, an total Internet stranger.

I’ve been sitting here trying to put into words what needs to be said and it makes me sad. Forgive me if this is short.

Over the past year I have had an amazing time here. What a community! I’m happy I had the chance to be a part of it. But as all things begin, so too must they end.
